As the temperatures this winter have remained colder than usual, we have seen a larger accumulation of ice and snow, especially on standing seam metal commercial roofs. This client of ours in Bedford Heights, Ohio had major leaks coming in the building, from heat loss thawing the ice and having water enter the building in the offices. We had to remove the ice and snow to keep them from leaking, but I’m afraid it may happen again when ice and snow builds up, as temperatures are too cold to make permanent repairs, as the repair products will freeze before curing.
